THE VIDEO WAS RETTY GOOD. ALOT OF IT WAS BLURRY. I LIKED THE ONES SHOWING THE OLD 1970 CF MACK. THAT WAS MY FAVORITE ENGINE WHEN I WAS IN THE DEPARTMNT FROM 1983 - 1995. THAT ENGINE EVEN WENT THRU BEING HIT BY A TRAIN IN DRAVSBURG ON CLANCY'SBAR FIRE, I WAS ON THAT ENGINE. LOTS F MEMORIES.
NEED TO CHECK SPELLING ON DOING FIRE CALLS. SEVERAL MISTAKES.
KEEP UP GOOD JOB UNDER A GREAT FIRE CHIEF WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WH STARTED FRM LT. UPTO C - 1.

I want to say at first I was "Appolled" when My Station #162 / Reliance Hose Co. #2 who I am a "Life Member" and" Former Fire Chief" was Dis-Banded By Glassport Borough Officials. But, after reviewing the Boroughs thought's as far as Finances it was a Credited Move as with the declining population of the town and business's to keep 2 Fire Dept's in operation was fruitless. It was a Duplication of Fire Services and Fire Apparatus that is costly to keep in service. I "Applaud" the Member's of Citizens Hose Co.#1 for taking on this endeavor! As a Former Fire Chief I worked right along side many of you and I know that you are all Excellently Trained Fire -Fighters and Officers" and will do whatever it takes to "Protect Life and Property"in the Borough of Glassport. I wish You the Best in keeping our Town safe and Keep Up the Good Work!

I WANT TO THANK ALL THE MEDICS,WHO ATTENDED,TO MY FAMILY MEMBERS NEED THE NIGHT OF THE FIREMENS FAIR ON THE SECOND FLOOR,MY FIANCE HAD HEAT EX.AND COULDNT BREATH,WE NEVER EVER HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPEN TO US,BUT U GUYS WERE THERE!!I DONT KNOW WHO U WERE BUT THANK U!!!!AND TO ONE FIREMEN WHO WAS BY R SIDE THE WHOLE TIME MR. I love how you keep us safe #1, but don't you test your siren weekly anymore? please do so, and that way, yu can get it fixed, if it breaks! I've always missed that sound at tuesday, 12:00.

My Wife's father grew up in Glassport. She remembers driving across the nation to visit her grandmother and family. As a Firefighter I thought I'd take a quick peek at what Glassport had to offer. I am impressed! Check us out on our website. Whatcom7firefighters.net or WCFD7.org

SINCE I WAS A 10 YR. 1983 - 1993
THE DEPARTMENT TOOK ON ALOT OF CHANGES FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF THE BOROUGH & THE CITIZENS. FINALLY GOT THE BORO OF GLASSPORT LIKE ALWAYS TALKE ABOUT. GOT NEW FIRE EQUIPMENT TO PROTECT THE BORO & ASSIST OTHER DEPARTMENTS.
I'M PROUD THAT WAYNE LEWIS JR. TOOK OVER AS CHIEF AFTER HAVING SO MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN OFFICER GOING THRU THE PROPER RANKS OF THE DEPARTMENT & STAYING ON AS C-2 FOR YEARS. CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF!!!
